I feel like our whole process has become a big game of trial and error. We think of random ways to make the light move and we try to mix and match all of the techniques we have picked up with all the different areas we travel to and with what they have to offer there. Then we hope for some good shots.
That sculpture is in Baddducky's yard. It's been there forever. It's one
of those overlooked objects our eye passes by when we are coming and
going but oh so spectacular if we stop to appreciate what it could be.
Properties like hers are actually perfect grounds for light painting.
There is even more for us to discover there. All I can think is I can't
wait for summer when we can fully explore all our surrounds and do so in
much cuter outfits! Right now it is almost easier for us to come up
with scenes in our head before even going outside because once we do all
we can think about is how we might be getting hypothermia in our toes.
The idea for shooting in this awesome tree was given to us by a good friend with a good blog. We absolutely love getting ideas and trying them out! And if you want to help us do so please contact us!!
We would love to explore new light ideas with anyone that has some!
